The Riders announced they have signed Regina born defensive lineman Zack Evans to a new 4 year deal that will keep him in green and white through 2022.

Evans returned to Saskatchewan in 2018, where he spend his first 2 seasons before being lost in the 2013 Ottawa REDBLACKS expansion draft. The two time Grey Cup champion started all 18 games with the Riders in 2018, where he had 15 defensive tackles and one sack, to go with his four fumble recoveries and a touchdown.
