According to TSN’s Farhan Lalji, the Riders righted a wrong from 2013 today when they brought back former Roughrider and Regina Thunder product, Zack Evans, back to the green and white.
Evans was left unprotected by the Riders in the Ottawa Redblacks expansion draft and quickly became a force on their defensive line, culminating in a 2016 Grey Cup victory,
In his 6 year career, Evans has 82 defensive tackles and 22 sacks in 86 career games, most of those in the past 4 years in Ottawa.
Evans will add Canadian depth to the defensive line with the expected departures of Eddie Steele and Ese Mrabure.
A defensive line of Willie Jefferson, Zack Evans, Nick James, and Charleston Hughes sounds good to me. What do you think, Rider Nation?
