Game Day – Riders Can Crush Stampeders Season With Rare Win

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Saskatchewan Roughriders be competitive in a game, let alone win one, but with a win tonight in Calgary, not only will the Riders clinch a playoff spot and give just that little bit of hope again to Rider Nation, they’ll end the Stampeders season and their two-decade stretch of making the playoffs.
A loss? You have to rely on Calgary to lose their final two games… not unlikely given how this season has gone, but not an ideal situation to rely on others.
This week for the Riders, Derrick Moncrief is out, giving an opportunity to Jaylen Moody in his first game at linebacker. With the way he’s been playing lately, I think the Stamps will miss Moncrief more than the Riders will.
With all the emotion in the stadium last week, the Riders came out flat… with their playoff lives on the line, will we get the same lethargic team and effort or will we see a team that actually cares tonight?
