Jake Harty has Setback, Will Miss 2019 Season

General Manager Jeremy O’Day announced on Wednesday that Canadian receiver Jake Harty, who missed the 2018 season with a torn ACL suffered on the first day of training camp, had a setback in his rehab process and had to have surgery recently to fix that. Harty will miss the 2019 season because of it.
Last year, Piffles Podcast broke the story that Harty was NOT signing with the Montreal Alouettes as previously reported and was instead going to join Saskatchewan. He signed a 2 year deal with the Riders and won’t get in a full practice in those 2 yyears. Harty will become a free agent in 2020 and his playing career is now in jeopardy.
