No Perfect Game, Pin Pals Get to go Bowling Anyway

I’m a pissed off fan right now. I try not to write or podcast based on emotion, but I can’t hold it in anymore. I am PISSED. OFF! Not because the Saskatchewan Roughriders are on a 6 game losing streak, about to be 7 (AGAIN) and (maybe?) miss the playoffs? No, that’s football, that’s sports, it happens. No, instead I’m a pissed off fan because this team has a head coach in Craig Dickenson that is so inept, a management team of Craig Reynolds and Jeremy O’Day that is so inept of what’s right in front of them. I’m pissed off because for the 2nd straight season, everyone is going through the motions and don’t even bother to change one single thing to keep afloat this sinking ship of a franchise.
But hey, you get to take MY hard earned money that I give to the team and use it to go bowling on Sunday, so you guys can be together and have fun in your final week together. Cool. Just another lane for you guys to strike out on.
For those that didn’t see (good for you, you didn’t waste your 8 minutes like I did), Coach Dickey in his post game conference following the Riders 26-19 loss in Calgary, he was asked what he was going to do this upcoming week to get the spirits up with the players to move on from this loss. Our fearless leader of the team said they will ask permission from O’Day & Reynolds to go bowling with the team! Something fun to enjoy each other’s company, a chance to hang out.
BOWLING! That’s the cure to the current 6 game losing streak! BOWLING! What. A. Mess.
I got lambasted for wanting him fired earlier in the year, but still, that day just can not come fast enough. And the rest of the Pin Pals, Reynolds, O’Day, Kelly Jeffrey, Jason Shivers, etc. can all go with him. Every. Single. One of them. It’s time to spare the fans here and move onward and upward. The whole organization needs a culture change and it won’t happen in a bowling alley.
So enjoy your excursion, Pin Pals. It’s time for you and Rider Nation to (not quite 7-10) split up.
