Riders RB Tre Mason has Torn ACL; Will Miss 2019 Season

Another tidbit that came from General Manager Jeremy O’Days press conference on Wednesday was that running back Tre Mason has a torn ACL and had surgery to repair it. Mason will miss the 2019 season.
Mason was a hyped up signing last season and had 809 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Riders. Mason being on the shelf was one of the main reasons the Riders went out and signed star running back William Powell on the first day of CFL Free Agency. Powell, along with Marcus Thigpen will provide the 1-2 punch for the Riders ground game in 2019.
