With the 6th overall selection in the 2019 Canadian Football League draft, the Riders selected Justin McInnish out of Arkansas State university.
Almost every mock draft had the Riders select either a Wide Receiver or an Offensive Lineman, and they decided to go with the player who is considered the best WR in a solid draft class.
Rider Nation should be excited about this pick. He is the most pro ready wide receiver in the class. Last season, the Arkansas State product had 61 catches for 748 yards and 5 touchdowns.
In his Arkansas State Pro Day, the 6’4″ receiver ran a 4.57 40 yard dash to go alone side his 38.5 inch vertical. He’s tall, fast and had solid hands.
