Riders Sign WR Cory Watson

For the second time in his career, Cory Watson is a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The Riders announced today that they have signed the 34 year old Canadian receiver to a 1 year deal.
Watson will provide insurance behind Jake Harty, who is hoping to be ready to go for training camp after tearing his ACL last year and Patrick Lavoie. Watson had 406 yards and 3 TDs last season with the BC Lions and will be going into his 10th CFL season.
Watson was previously a member of the Riders in 2015 after he was traded from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but was traded the day before the 2015 CFL draft to Edmonton in the deal that brought Jorgen Hus to Saskatchewan.
