4 – Calgary
Well, Rider Nation – it’s time to say goodbye to the 2018 Saskatchewan Roughriders on my weekly power rankings as both they and the BC Lions head to locker cleanup day while the Blue Bombers and Ticats move on to the Division Finals.
Winnipeg may have won this week, but they certainly didn’t look great doing it. Their defense did the job against an anemic Riders offense, but their specials teams left much to be desired heading in to the Division Finals. Against a quarterback who throws anything other than ducks, Sunday’s game likely looks a lot different (asterisks are fun, right 😀 ) and they will face that on Sunday in Calgary.
Hamilton rises from 4th to 3rd after dismantling the BC Lions in the final game of Wally Buono’s illustrious career. This game was basically over from the moment BC fumbled their first offensive snap already down 7-0. Hamilton never looked back en route to a 48-8 victory over the BC Lions.
